David Sliwka represents a new generation of Czech lawyers who combine strong legal expertise with a practical understanding of business and a modern approach to complex transactions. He joined HAJDUK & PARTNERS after completing his studies in 2017 and quickly became a stable and integral member of the firm’s team.
His practice focuses primarily on corporate law, M&A transactions, and advisory services for investment entities, entrepreneurs, and family-owned structures. A significant part of his work involves asset structuring, the design of holding and investment arrangements, and succession and intergenerational wealth transfer, with a strong emphasis on long-term stability, tax and legal efficiency, and clarity of proposed solutions. The complexity of the matters he handles often requires a creative and strategic approach, with the objective of delivering solutions that provide clients with tangible and measurable value rather than formalistic legal constructions.
Having entered the legal profession in recent years, David naturally combines a traditional legal approach with an up-to-date perspective on markets, investments, and technology. He systematically follows modern trends in his practice, including the use of AI-based tools. Transparency and predictability are, in his view, the foundations of long-term client relationships.
In his free time, he is active in sports, including football and tennis, cycling, skiing, and mountaineering. He is fluent in Czech and English and has a working knowledge of Polish and Slovak.
