What does using AI in a law firm actually look like?
In a legalweb survey, David Sliwka discusses how the approach to artificial intelligence in a lawyer’s daily work has changed in recent months.
He admits that AI tools are used more frequently and naturally today than even six months ago. In practice, this means that in many tasks, the first question is no longer whether, but how to incorporate AI into a given process. At HAJDUK & PARTNERS, this approach is becoming increasingly common – especially once lawyers see specific practical applications.
At the same time, skepticism about content generated by AI is also growing. Therefore, as David emphasizes, it is crucial that the final text always reflects the work of a lawyer.
“The first result is just the raw material. The most important thing is to develop it – adding context, corrections, and your own expert knowledge.”
Can the discussion about AI’s errors and limitations slow down the development of these technologies? In David’s opinion, probably not. New technologies always raise questions and concerns, but as long as they help people and businesses save time, they will continue to be used.
